A-mid October thirteenth year can be regarded as a significant date in the history of the new documentary film in Russia. October 18-20, the film “Rudolf Nureyev. Rebellious demon” rolled out in Russia. Even leaving aside the fact that the appearance of any non-fiction film in cinemas this is an event , a film about Nureyev – this is the first documentary that released with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

Significant event was marked first-run in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and in the native land of the great dancer in Ufa. The event caused a stir in the art world, and, of course, attracted both talent and fans of the Russian ballet. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, the picture presented producer Alfiya Chebotareva and People’s Artist of Russia Andris Liepa.
