This year the competition was held for the 11th time and was dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Kayum Nasyri. The hosts of the event, from kindergarten No. 10 “Sozvezdie,” presented a literary and musical composition titled “The Legacy of Kayum Nasyri,” with the role of the scholar played by Ilnar Faritovich Biktagirov.

A total of 33 children from kindergartens across the republic participated in the event.

11 participants from Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Zelenodolsk, and Vysokogorsky districts made it to the finals. The Grand Prix was awarded to Zamira Gainullina, a student of kindergarten No. 11 “Antoshka.”

The honored guests of the competition were the People’s Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Zuhra Sharifullina, and the Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Khalimov.

The highlight of the event, as is tradition, was the performance of the Tatar national anthem “I Tughan Tel…” by all the participants.
