The House of Tatar Culture in Novosibirsk hosted an engaging intellectual and entertaining program on October 18th, in celebration of World Day of oriental sweets. Pupils from 7th grade, Class A, of MBOU SOSH No. 156, under the guidance of their teacher, Anzhelika Zhuravleva, participated in this enriching event.

During the program, the children were introduced to Tatar games, attire, holidays, and traditions. A creative workshop led by Alsina Abuzarovna Shaimardanova allowed them to craft an elegant Izu ornament from felt. Furthermore, under the direction of methodologist Galieva Ramziyoya Sagitovna, they learned to prepare the national dish, kystybyy.

The program concluded with a gathering around a table where the children shared their acquired knowledge and skills, as well as enjoyed the prepared dishes and oriental sweets, including chak-chak.
