The annual V Festival “Bridges of Friendship” was held in the Palace of Culture “Zheleznodorozhnik” in Nizhny Novgorod within the framework of the project “Nizhegorodchina – land of consent”.
The festival is organized by the Regional National and Cultural Autonomy of the Tatars of the Nizhny Novgorod Region in conjunction with the Ministry of Internal Regional and Municipal Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region for the fifth time. This year it was held with the grant support of OOO LUKOIL-Volganefteprodukt.
Already at 16.00 the foyer was busy. Various national associations prepared interesting and bright exhibitions-tastings of products of national cuisine, arts and crafts of different nations. Guests of the festival approached each representative, tried national treats, got acquainted with the culture of each people.
In addition to exhibitions, a concert program was organized at the festival from the brightest national songs and dances performed by the best bands: Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Tatar, Armenian, Uzbek, Gypsy, Tajik, Chuvash, Mordovian and others.
The concert was held in a pleasant, friendly atmosphere. The auditorium was crowded, and the grateful spectators did not spare the applause. And everyone who attended this international holiday received a lot of positive emotions.
All national associations were given the opportunity to show their traditions, culture and customs. And most importantly, indeed, there was an atmosphere of unity and friendship among peoples. And it’s very pleasant that this time it was even at a higher level and bigger. Spectators with pleasure watched the concert numbers of our friends and thanked the organizers for the positive, and somewhere, and knowledge.
I wanted to thank all our friends and colleagues who took part in such a big holiday. We hope that this festival will also collect and unite different nationalities and promote the development of harmonization of interethnic relations in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
And the festival continued with the jubilee concert of Damir Feiskhanov and his ensemble “Tugan Yak Mounar”.
