On February 14, the final concert of the IX Nazib Zhiganov Tatar Music Festival “Miras”, held by the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan, took place at the Salikh Saidashev Grand Concert Hall.

The Miras Festival was founded in 2015 by the artistic director and chief conductor of the Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Sladkovsky. The scientific director of the festival is the rector of the Kazan State Conservatory named after N. Zhiganov, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Vadim Dulat-Aleev.

The program of the evening “Two dedications” united the works of two Tatar composers Farid Yarullin and Shamil Sharifullin.

Rinat Khalitov, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted the concert.
