As part of the “I Speak in Tatar!” campaign, the “Kazan Quest” game took place on April 14 among schools in the districts of Tatarstan and Kazan. Students completed tasks while moving through various locations in the center of Kazan.
15 teams, about 100 students, participated in the second stage of the contest. The tasks included solving riddles, translating from Arabic script to Cyrillic, crossword puzzles, conducting surveys on central streets, and other interesting challenges.
The “Kazan Quest” game, which included 15 locations, was organized with the participation of the House of Tatar Book, the G. Tukay Literary Museum, the Kayum Nasiri Museum, the Chak-Chak Museum, and the Sharyk Club.
The results of the “Kazan Quest” will be announced on April 26 during the gala concert of the “I Speak in Tatar!” campaign.
The contest was supported by the Kazan City Administration, the World Congress of Tatars, the Education Department of the Kazan Executive Committee, the Ministry of Culture, and the Ministry of Education and Science.
