On February 10, 2024, a meeting of the organizing committee of the International Mining Sabantuy 2024 was held in Kemerovo. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev.

The government of the Kemerovo region has proposed to hold a national holiday in Prokopyevsk.

On the part of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Leninogorsk district was appointed the responsible organizer of the Sabantuy.

It was also decided that the Sabantuy will be held on June 30, 2024. Guests from the regions and foreign countries will come to the celebration.
