The exhibition “From the blue rose to the golden garnet” has been opened at the Moscow State Museum of the East. About a hundred works exhibited in the halls represent the works by the most outstanding national masters of the first half of the twentieth century, who linked their destiny with the East: Symbolists and avant-gardists, masters of the open-air and realism. At the exhibition the works of the outstanding Tatar artist Baki Urmanche will also be presented.
The exhibition was based on the collection of the State Museum of the East, supplemented by paintings from the Moscow Tatar Foundation for the Support and Development of Scientific and Cultural Programs named after Sh. Mardzhani, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Saratov State Art Museum named after A.N. Radishchev.
The exhibition runs until April 8, 2018.
