On August 30, at the House of Friendship of Peoples, the regional open contest “Ozyn Tolym – Long  Braid-2019” was held.

15 owners of bright talents and long braids took part in it. These are Daria Dementieva from Yegorkino, Milana Parukova from Aksumla, Azilya Abdulvalieva and Samira Fayzullina from the Svetloye (Bright) Lake. They represented the youngest age group from 7 to 11 years. In the middle group – 12-15 years old – Ilvina Biktasheva from Nizhny Nurlat, Alla Korobkova from Selengush, Kira Magarina from Mamykovo, Anastasia Vasilieva from Karaulnaya Gora, Ruslana Khusainova  from New Iglaykino, Dinara Stadnik from Yerykly. Tatyana Illarionova from Mamykovo, Alsina Suleymanova from the city of Nurlat, Nadezhda Yakovleva from Aksumla, Landysh Sayfutdinova from Saldakaevo and Olga Karyukhina from Tyurnaseva  competed in the nomination for the  “From 16 and older”. Outside the competition, the jury and the audience received compliments from the mother of many children, Marina Kulagina, and the mother of two sons, Svetlana Shehi.

The winners of the contest were determined not only by the length of the hair. A competent jury evaluated their creative numbers, hairstyles, fashion shows and the homework of the participants.

The organizers of the event are the Nurlat branch of the World Tatars Congress and the local branch of the Ak Kalfak public organization.
