The Penza regional public organization of Tatar women “Ak Kalfak” has launched courses on the study of the Tatar language for children.

Imam-hazrat of Kamensky district Ildus Taktashev was invited to the first open lesson. He stressed the importance of the native language and the preservation of national traditions. The chairman of the Ak Kalfak society, Elmira Vasilyeva, also spoke about the need to know the native language, traditions and culture of the Tatar people.

Classes are held on Sundays. Ravilya Batkaeva, a teacher with a lot of experience, conducts lessons.

The General Director of the KAGAU Group of Companies Bakir Akzhigitov provides financial support in conducting the courses.
