On October 24, on the sidelines of the BRICS summit, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow, at which he thanked the Turkmenistan President for the warm relations and traditions that Berdimuhamedow established, as well as for maintaining and expanding cooperation.

“Our cooperation has a long history. We work systematically in all areas and projects, in which our enterprises are involved, show good dynamics», Minnikhanov emphasized.

Berdymukhammedov thanked for the warm welcome in Kazan. «The Republic of Tatarstan is successfully developing and has become a venue for such important summits» the President of Turkmenistan noted, assuring that cooperation will continue in the same progressive manner.

At the end of the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the Duslyk (Friendship) Order to Serdar Berdimuhamedow. «This award will be a symbol of our cooperation», the President of Turkmenistan concluded.
