The event was dedicated to the contribution of Bukharans to the history of Western Siberia. The descendants of Siberian Bukhars continue to reside in the region and contribute significantly to the social and cultural life of the Tyumen Oblast.
The history, customs and traditions of this ethno-cultural community were showcased in the festive program “Bukharans in Siberia”, which coincided with the Year of Family and the Days of Uzbek Culture in the Tyumen Oblast.
