From June 19 to 21, Kazan will host the V Forum of regional and national media.
The event is held to discuss the objectives of the current state and prospects of development of regional and national media in Russia, exchange of experience.
Mass media Program of the forum provides a plenary session with the participation of representatives of the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications, RF Ministry of Regional Development, Guild of Ethnic Journalism, Russian Union of Journalists, heads of regional departments on media, representatives of major regional, national and specialized publications, TV and radio , news agencies from 30 federal subjects.
In particular, it will be attended by representatives from the regions of Russia, as Astrakhan, Belgorod, Irkutsk, Kostroma, Leningrad, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg, Samara, Tver, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk, Ulyanovsk region, Krasnoyarsk and Primorsky Krai, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Buryatia, Dagestan, Komi, Mari El, Mordovia, North Ossetia – Alania, Udmurtia, etc.
The event assumes holding seminars with Director of the Department of State policy in the sphere of international relations of the RF Ministry of Regional Development Alexander Zhuravsky and President of interregional public organization “Guild of ethnic journalism” Margarita Lange.
Also, the forum scheduled awards ceremony of the VII All-Russian journalist contest “The Many Faces of Russia”, which is be held June 20.
As reported by IA Tatar-inform, the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications, just nearly 700 entries from 52 regions of Russia for the contest received, which were considered by the competent jury led by RT Deputy Chairman of RT State Council, chairman of the RT Union of Journalists RT Rimma Ratnikova.
In addition, the forum participants will visit the House of Peoples’ Friendship Tatarstan and Sabantui festival.
Note, the Forum of regional and national media and all- Russia journalistic competition “The Many Faces of Russia” received support from the Government of Tatarstan, and was included in the state program “Implementation of the state national policy in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2020.”
Note that previous years the forum was held as Congress regional and national media. In 2014, the event will be held for the fifth time.
