The Volga Youth Centre hosted the XVI “Maksat” school of Tatar Youth leadership

From 4 to 8 December 2024, the Volga Youth Centre hosted the XVI “Maksat” school of Tatar Youth leadership. The event was attended by Ruslan Kaneyev, the Chairman of the Youth Executive Committee of the Tatar National Cultural Autonomy of Penza Region.

Forty talented leaders and deputies of Tatar youth organizations from more than 17 regions of Russia participated in the event. This provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experience and establish interregional cooperation.

The main goal of the school was to support Tatar youth leaders, foster their skills development, and discuss pressing issues of youth policy and national identity.

The event featured a comprehensive programme, including: Trainings, masterclasses, and discussions.

Participants took part in various intensives, including:
– Personal brand: training on public speaking and masterclass on etiquette.
– Key competences of a leader: lectures and practical exercises on management activities.
– Project activity: work on social project development.
– Youth policy: roundtable and panel discussion with representatives of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The highlight of the event was the premiere screening of the short motivational film ‘Idel: Stories of Success and Opportunity’. This film inspired participants and encouraged them to strive for greater achievements.

Participants also had the opportunity to interact with representatives of the Tatar intelligentsia, which was a valuable experience in shaping the future and development of society. These meetings facilitated the exchange of ideas and discussions on current issues, fostering creativity and self-development among the young people.

The XVI Maksat School of Tatar Youth Leadership was a hub for learning, inspiration, and motivation for all participants. We believe that the knowledge and skills gained will greatly contribute to their further development and the success of their initiatives.
