A creative evening dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the birth of Robert Minnullin was held at the Tatar State Philharmonic named after Gabdulla Tukay. As part of the evening, the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Mukhametshin, awarded the winners of the Competition for the best literary work for children and youth. It is held by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Union of Writers of the Republic of Tatarstan in order to increase the interest of children and youth in the Tatar language and reading.

In total, more than 135 applications were submitted to this year’s competition. Entries were submitted under pseudonyms.
