In April 2024, the World Congress of Tatars launched the II All-Russian contest ‘Tidings – Khabar’ aimed at editorial offices and journalists of Tatar-language newspapers, as well as TV and radio broadcasts published outside the Republic of Tatarstan.

On October 11, during the final segment of the VII All-Russian Forum of Tatar journalists, the winners of this competition were revealed. They received congratulations from Danis Shakirov, the Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars.

 

The winners in the nomination “Personality – Shәkhes” are:

• The editorial office of the newspaper “Өmet” from the Republic of Bashkortostan;

• Elmira Sadykovna Nigmatullina (an employee of the newspaper “Yaңarysh” from the Udmurt Republic);

• The editorial staff of the Ulyanovsk regional newspaper “Өmet”.

 

In the nomination “Model Family – Urnәk gailә” the winners are:

• The editorial office of the Nizhny Novgorod regional newspaper “Tugan Yak”;

• The editorial office of the newspaper “Tan” from Bardymsky district, Perm region;

• Gulnara Nurgayazovna Gabdrakhmanova (editor-in-chief of the Kirov regional newspaper “Duslyk”);

• The Omsk regional newspaper “Tatar World – Tatar donyasy”.

 

For the nomination “Young Correspondent – Yash Correspondent”, the winner is:

• Fanzilya Anvarovna Salikhova (Udmurt Republic, program “Merry Bell –  Kunelle kongyraw”).
