The National Festival of Tatar folklore “Tugyaryak uyen” will be held from 23 to 25 September 2015. in the Republic of Mari El.

The festival will feature Tatar folk groups from 19 regions of the Russian Federation, including those of Astrakhan, Samara, Sverdlovsk, Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod, Omsk, Orenburg, Tyumen, Ulyanovsk, Chelyabinsk and Perm regions, from the republics of Bashkortostan, Mordovia, Mari El, Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Chuvashia.

For the first time in the festival will be attended by teams from the Volgograd Region and the Republic of Crimea.

The festival includes auditions of teams in 8 nominations, visiting concerts to Paranginsky, Mari-Turek, Morkinsky regions , creative workshops, evening national games “Kichke uyen” and Gala Concert of the best folklore groups. The festival will take place in a sanatorium “Stone River”.

The gala concert will be held on September 25 in Yoshkar-Ola at the State Russian Drama Theater named after G.Konstantinov. Beginning at 18.00.
