On June 15, 2019, the regional national holiday of the Tatar people, SABANTUI-2019, will take place at the «Pobeda (Victory) park leisure and rest  on the territory of the city hippodrome.

The Tatar oblast  holiday Sabantui is held 29 times.

An interesting, diverse program awaits guests at Sabantuy: a bright concert by participants of amateur art activities in the city of Ulyanovsk, the Ulyanovsk Region and art masters of the Republic of Tatarstan, fun contests and games,  the Tatar national wrestling “Kuresh”. Those who wish can purchase national souvenirs, products of folk arts and crafts, sweets and baked goods, and enjoy Tatar chak-chak.

In the framework of the celebration of the “Year of National Unity” in the Ulyanovsk region at the holiday “Sabantuy-2019” the work of inter-ethnic homesteads will be organized. In the first part of the celebration of the “Year of the Theater” in Russia, “Theatrical Maidan” will work on Sabantui.

Mass festivities in the territory of Victory park of leisure and rest, the city hippodrome will begin at 10.00 in the morning and continue until 16.00.

The official opening of the holiday is scheduled at 11.00.
