Vasil Shaihraziev got acquainted with the library of Bashkir and Tatar literature

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council Vasil Shaykhraziev has got acquainted with the Library of Bashkir and Tatar Literature in Magnitogorsk today. We remind you that today he is on a working visit to the Chelyabinsk region.
During the visit to the library Chairman of the National Council promised to provide possible assistance in replenishing the library with Tatar literature and sending Tatar poets and writers to organize various events. He has presented Tatar books.
Vasil Shaihraziev also inspected the premises where the local national-cultural autonomy “Tatar Rukh” plans to open the Tatar cultural center. To date, the city administration has provided this building of the autonomy free of charge.
Members of the Tatar autonomy have already begun repair work, but still need financial investments. Members of the national-cultural autonomy are going to sound this problem today at a meeting with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

Library of Bashkir and Tatar Literature in Magnitogorsk
The library of literature in the Bashkir and Tatar languages is a publicly accessible information and cultural center for the Bashkir and Tatar population of the city of Magnitogorsk. Library of literature in the Bashkir and Tatar languages, the center of national culture was founded in 1992. Work is conducted in all directions using various forms and methods, with a view to reviving national traditions, customs and rites of the Bashkir and Tatar people. The literature department in the Bashkir and Tatar languages was opened in 1936, the first librarian of the department was Valeeva Sarah Gubaydullovna.
The department is located in one of the rooms of the library-branch №2. The room was small (16 square meters), and the readers’ demand for national literature grew every year. Over the years, the city administration was asked to provide a new library to the national library. In April 2002, the department moved (after 10 years) to a spacious room.
