Vasil Shaikhraziev met with members of Tatar public associations in the Republic of Kazakhstan

On September 8, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, Vasil Shaikhraziev, held a meeting with members of Tatar public associations in Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by notable figures including Taufik Karimov, Deputy Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars and Chairman of the Board of the Republican public Association “Kazakhstan Congress of the Tatars and Bashkirs”; Gabdulhak Akhunzyanov, President of the Association of Tatars and Bashkirs of Priirtyshye “Hak” and founder of the Tatar School of Arts in Semey; Rafail Sulkarnaev, Chairman of the Public Association of Tatars and Bashkirs in the Akmola region; Denis Valeev, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazakhstan; among others.

Vasil Shaikhraziev welcomed his compatriots and emphasized the significant role that Tatar public associations in Kazakhstan play in preserving language, culture, and traditions, as well as in fostering cooperation between Tatarstan and Kazakhstan. During the meeting, the Chairman of the National Council presented awards to several activists.

Medals from the International Union “World Congress of the Tatars” for “Outstanding services to the Tatar ation” were conferred upon Nail Abraev, Chairman of the Board of the Tatar Ethno-Cultural Centre in North Kazakhstan; Farit Ayupov, Head of the Branch of the Kazakhstan Congress of Tatars in Turkestan Region; Rinad Bektemirov, Chairman of the Board of the Tatar-Bashkir Ethno-Cultural Centre in Kostanay Region; and Sergey Sadykov, Deputy Chairman of the Tatar-Bashkir Centre “Tan” in Astana.

Additionally, Nakiya Abdrakhmanova, a board member of the Duslyk education centre in Astana; Farida Nakysh, Head of the Branch of the Kazakhstan Congress of the Tatars in Zhambyl Region; and Rashida Khasanova, also a board member of the Duslyk Education Centre in Astana, received letters of thanks from the World Congress of the Tatars.
