Vasil Shaikhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, met with Rim Giniyatullin, Chairman of the Aksakal Council of the Tatar Centre in Tashkent.

This meeting took place on the occasion of Mr. Giniyatullin’s 81st birthday.

Danis Fanisovich Shakirov, First Deputy Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars and Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of theTatars, was also present at the meeting.

Discussions during the meeting centered around preserving the Tatar language, the well-being of the Tatar nation, its history and culture, and strengthening ties with Tatars living abroad.
