On September 6, the XX Kazan International Film Festival “Altyn Minbar” commenced. Vasil Shaikhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, attended the opening ceremony of this prestigious event.

“Altyn Minbar” has been included in the list of film projects supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The festival is held with the backing of Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the Ministry of Culture of Russia, and in partnership with the Russia-Islamic World strategic vision group.

The festival’s motto, “Through the Dialogue of Cultures – to the Culture of Dialogue”, invites the global community to embrace friendship and cooperation among representatives of all nationalities and faiths through the medium of cinema.
