Vasil Shaikhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of  the Tatars, conducted a working visit to the city of Kirov on October 15th.

During his visit, Vasil Shaikhraziev, accompanied by Andrey Savelyev, First Deputy Head of the Administration of the Governor and Government of the Kirov region, inspected the progress of the repair work on the Vyatka Cathedral Mosque. It is important to note that the Republic of Tatarstan provided financial assistance for the mosque’s renovation.

Built in 1909 according to the design of the esteemed Vyatka architect V.M. Druzhinin, the mosque stands as the only religious building of its kind in the city. Located on a tranquil old street amidst modest wooden and half-stone houses, the structure remains a significant landmark.
