Vasil Shaikhraziev: The strategy for the development of the Tatar people should spiritually unite the people

Regular meeting devoted to the development of a strategy for the development of the Tatar people was held at the building of the  World Congress of Tatars. At the round table, headed by  Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan,  Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaikhraziev gathered representatives of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan, various ministries, DUM RT, public organizations. A working group consisting of three dozen people tried to determine the content, essence, direction of the document, which should answer the question “Who are the Tatars?” And taking into account the past and present, determine the future of the Tatar people.

According to  chairman of the National Council Vasil Shaykhraziyev, the Strategy is a document that should serve the Tatar people. “The development strategy of our nation should spiritually unite us all, the Tatar people,” he noted. The importance of the document that will go down in the history of the nation should be understood by everyone and every Tatar should take part in its development,  Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan believes.

Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan, the Deputy Chairman of the National Council  Daniya, Zagidullina, emphasized that special attention should be paid to the development of the nation and youth policy.

Mufti of Tatarstan Kamil hazrat Samigullin noted that the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Tatarstan (DUM)  developed a provision devoted to the religious rites of the Tatar people. This document may form the basis of one part of a strategic document.

Chairman of the National Council, emphasizing the role of the clergy in  preservation of the Tatar people, proposed  creation of a separate group under the Muslim Spiritual Board, which would  deal with the strategic document.

Historian, scientist Damir Iskhakov noted that it was necessary to create a main working group at the World Congress. According to him, this group should determine the philosophical, political, national orientation of the document. Considering  the difference of opinion, it is necessary to hold seminars, discussions. And thus come to a common opinion, the scientist believes.

“The word“ strategy ”means a long-term goal, objective and determination of the main ways of achieving this goal. The main idea of ​​the document should fit on one page, ”noted journalist Rimzil Valiev. You also need to determine the status of the document – whether it will be Russian, Tatarstan, the World Congress of Tatars or the entire Tatar people. The status of this document can not only be regional, considers Rimzil Valiyev.

Deputy Chairman of the Tatar Youth Forum, Ayrat Faizrakhmanov, believes that the document should be developed by professionals. “Developing a strategic document should be one big move. We must rouse the people, ”says Ayrat Faizrahmanov. In his opinion, the essence of the document should be a powerful ethnosociological basis. As a representative of the youth wing, Ayrat Faizrakhmanov offers to collect proposals, going to the people, going to forums, public discussions.

The strategy should be written in two versions: for the Tatar people who have their own state and the Tatar people who do not have their own state, said the politician Ruslan Aisin. “If there is no ideological basis, the document will be empty. The strategy should be documents ideologically uniting the nation, ”he said.

“In order to go forward, you must stop backing up. Without restoring the lost, it is impossible to go forward, ”said the politician, public figure Fandas Safiullin. According to him, special attention should be paid to the national education system. The creation of a national university should also determine the future of the Tatar people.

The round table also dealt with the tools of involving people in  development of a strategic document. “It is necessary to work out how the Tatar people will put into practice what they have written,” critic Niyaz Iglamov shared his opinion.

Following the meeting, the task was set to think out the name of the document, appoint a responsible person for each direction of the document and the date of the next meeting was determined. Also, on the website of the World Congress of Tatars will be created a separate column dedicated to the development of the Development Strategy of the Tatar people.
