Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, Vasil Shaykhraziev, has arrived in the Omsk Region on a working visit.

At the airport, he was welcomed by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region Yegor Gorbatenko, member of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars and Chairman of the Regional Tatar National-Cultural Center “Irtysh”, as well as Chairman of the Council of the Omsk Regional Public Organization “Tatar National-Cultural Autonomy ‘Ibir'” (Siberia), Tamir Alimbaev, and Chairman of the Council of the Regional Tatar National-Cultural Autonomy of the Omsk Region, Radik Minikhanov.

During the visit, Vasil Shaykhraziev is scheduled to meet with the Mufti of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Siberia, Zulkarnay Shakirzyanov. He will also visit the “Zelyony Ostrov” (Green Island) park of culture and recreation, where he will inspect the venue for the upcoming XXVI Federal Sabantuy to be held in the Omsk Region. Later, a meeting of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the XXVI Federal Sabantuy will take place at the Government building.
