On June 23, the national Sabantuy holiday took place in Yuri Gagarin Park.

The guests of honor were Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev, Acting Governor of the Samara region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, President of the Samara regional creative public organization Duslyk Fakhrutdin Kanyukaev, Heroes of Russia Damir Yusupov and Rasim Baksikov.

The Chairman of the National Council presented the awards of the WCT. Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, Acting Governor of the Samara Region, also greeted the participants of the holiday.

As part of the Sabantuy celebration, various contests, sports competitions, and performances by creative teams were organized.
