On December 25, Vasil Shaykhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, met with journalists who had been actively covering the activities of the World Congress of the Tatars throughout the year.
During the meeting, Vasil Shaykhraziev also addressed issues related to the special military operation.
The Chairman of the National Council highlighted that many Tatars are participating in the operation, including compatriots who have been awarded high honors. “They are a source of great pride for us. The most important thing is for our men to return home alive and healthy,” he emphasized.
Vasil Shaykhraziev also underscored the importance of camouflage nets:
– We have visited the area on several occasions and have seen firsthand how these nets save the lives of our men. Every vehicle, piece of military equipment, and even small trenches are concealed from the enemy’s view thanks to these camouflage nets. We express our gratitude to everyone involved in producing them, he added.
In addition, Vasil Shaykhraziev noted that participants in the special military operation regularly receive humanitarian aid.
The Chairman of the National Council also reminded the audience that 2025 has been declared by the World Congress of the Tatars as the “Year of the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and Peace”.
“We hope that the special military operation will conclude with our victory and that peace will be achieved”, Vasil Shaykhraziev stated.
