During a meeting with journalists from Tatarstan,Vasil Shaykhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, highlighted the close collaboration between the media and the World Congress of the  Tatars.

“Newspapers and magazines published in Tatarstan and other regions of Russia regularly share information about events organized by the World Congress of the Tatars, sourced from our website and the “Tatarlar” newspaper. In turn, we publish updates on our website about events taking place in the regions. By supporting each other, we bring attention to the lives of Tatars around the world,” he stated.

Vasil Shaykhraziev also underscored the significance of regional newspapers and magazines:

“Regional newspapers provide additional motivation for leaders of Tatar cultural centers to engage more actively. Autonomies and media outlets should work together. This is not just about disseminating information but also about highlighting the efforts and accomplishments of those working in these autonomous centers”, he added.

“When necessary, we offer financial support and share our expertise. That is why meetings like this are so important and valuable,” the Chairman of the National Council emphasized.
