Vasil Shaykhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, is on a working visit to the Republic of Adygea. As part of the trip, he held an official meeting with the Head of the Republic of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov.
The meeting was also attended by Minister of Culture of the Republic of Adygea Yuri Autlev, Chairman of the Committee for Nationalities, Relations with Compatriots, and Mass Media Konstantin Shcherbakov, First Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars and Head of the Committee for Work with Tatar Public Organizations in the Regions of the Russian Federation Mars Tukaev, as well as other officials.
Murat Kumpilov warmly welcomed the guests. He praised the achievements of Tatarstan and the leadership of its Head, Rustam Minnikhanov, noting that Tatarstan is always a model region.
In turn, Vasil Shaykhraziev thanked the hosts for their hospitality and conveyed greetings to the participants on behalf of the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. He expressed gratitude to the leadership of Adygea for hosting the winter meeting of the federal district.
The Chairman of the National Council emphasized that, in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a bust of the great Tatar poet and Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Jalil would be unveiled that day in the village of Politotdel. The project was implemented with the support of the Government of Adygea. He also noted the assistance of the republic’s authorities in the renovation of the cemetery fence in Politotdel.
During the meeting, information was also presented on recent developments in Tatarstan, including the upcoming September elections for the Rais of the Republic.
Murat Kumpilov, in turn, expressed readiness for further cooperation with Tatarstan. He noted that Adygea is also engaged in work with the new territories, including settlements in the Kherson region, where a significant number of Tatars live.
Vasil Shaykhraziev stated that as part of future working visits, trips to these regions are planned, along with meetings with compatriots residing there.
