On January 28, Vasil Shaykhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, met with Yevgeny Pichuyev, the Chairman of the Tver City Duma, and Liliya Kornienko, Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Tver Region. During the meeting, Vasil Shaykhraziev provided information about the activities of the World Congress of the Tatars and events held across federal districts.

Yevgeny Pichuyev spoke about the historical presence of the Tatar community in the region and their active involvement in its life. He also emphasized the importance of establishing mutual understanding in cooperation with the national-cultural autonomy of Tatars in the Tver Region.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Vasil Shaykhraziev invited representatives of Tver to visit Kazan to learn more about Tatar culture and traditions. The meeting became a successful step toward strengthening friendship and cooperation.
