Yesterday Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev met with the heads of Tatar public organizations of the North Caucasian and Southern federal districts. During the meeting, the chairman spoke about the activities of the World Congress of the Tatars, aimed at supporting compatriots in the regions of Russia and in foreign countries.

– We are grateful that the leadership of the Stavropol Territory pays attention to interethnic politics and provides support to our compatriots, – said Vasil Shaykhraziev.

He also recalled the All-Russian competition among the editors and journalists of Tatar-language newspapers, television and radio programs produced outside of Tatarstan.

At the meeting, the results of the work of the World Congress of the Tatars for 2022 were summed up and the work plan and tasks for 2023 were determined.

The evening program continued with a concert of art masters from Tatarstan and the Stavropol Territory.
