As part of a working trip to Kazakhstan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev visited the Semey Tatar School of Arts. He was introduced to the school by the director of the educational institution Rashid Atnagulov.

Tatars, Russians, Kazakhs and children of other nationalities study folk songs, decorative and applied arts here. Tatar folk ensembles of the City Palace of Culture rehearse at the school.
