Vasil Shaykhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, visited the Tver Grand Mosque.
The Tver Grand Mosque, built in 1906, is recognized as a regional cultural heritage site. In 2008, the mosque underwent renovations both inside and outside, and the surrounding area was upgraded.
In 2020, another major restoration was carried out with the support of the foundation named after the first President of the Chechen Republic, Akhmat-Haji Kadyrov. The project aimed to fully preserve the original appearance of the 114-year-old building. The restoration work included both the facade and interior elements.
