Vasil Shaykhraziyev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, is currently on a working visit to the city of Bolgar.
As part of his visit, an on-site meeting of the organizing committee was held to discuss preparations for the “Izge Bolgar jyieny” (The Sacred Bolgar Gathering). This significant celebration, dedicated to the Day of the Official Adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria, will take place on May 18, 2025, in Bolgar.
The event will also be included in the cultural program of the XVI International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum”.
