A meeting was held in Nizhny Novgorod with the participation of Vasyl Shaikhraziyev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, and the active members of Tatar public organizations from the Volga Federal District. During the meeting, they summarized the work of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars in 2024 and discussed the work plan and objectives for 2025.

The event was attended by Dmitry Grachev, Deputy Minister of Internal Regional and Municipal Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod region; Irina Kondyreva, Deputy Head of the Administration of Nizhny Novgorod; Yuri Stankevich, Member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation; Mars Tukaev, First Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars and Head of the Committee for Work with Tatar Public Organizations in the Regions of the Russian Federation, and others.

As is tradition, the meeting began with the recitation of the noble Quran and words of greeting. The prayer was led by Gayaz Hazrat Zakirov, Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Then, Vasyl Shaikhraziyev addressed the participants on behalf of the Government of Tatarstan and the World Congress of the  Tatars, sharing information about the annual meetings held in the federal districts.

Before the speeches of the leaders of the Tatar public organizations, a film was shown highlighting the achievements of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2024.

Next, the floor was given to the leaders of Tatar public organizations from the Volga Federal District. Each of them shared their thoughts on the achievements made and outlined the key tasks and areas of focus for the upcoming year.
