March 11 at the Korston, in Kazan, the plenary session of the 6th All-Russian meeting of entrepreneurs of Tatar villages was held.

Early in the morning in the foyer, the exhibition-fair of producers of products and handicrafts from the regions of Russia opened. Agricultural producers from Kirov, Penza, Nizhny Novgorod regions, Bashkortostan and Tatarstan were represented. Different kinds of sausage products, meat delicacies, dried geese, baked goods, chakchak, kumis, honey, frozen ochpochmak, pelmeni, even bast shoes and baskets – were where to run to the eye … Traditionally, the enterprises that are members of the Halal industry association presented their products.

Amateur artists from Chuvashia – ensemble “Mishar” from Shigyrdan raised mood by cheerful songs.

On the second floor there was an exhibition of products related to the decorative and applied arts of the Tatars. This is the famous Orenburg shawls, and even grandmother knitting a shawl, cradles woven of the vine, baskets, embroidered handbags, skullcaps, children’s jumpers. Everything is very beautiful and delighted.

Arrived at the plenary session of the VI All-Russian meeting of entrepreneurs of Tatar villages. President of Tatarstan Rustem Minnikhanov examined the exhibition witha great interest.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of Tatarstan ministries, various departments, journalists.

In the work of the VI All-Russian gathering of entrepreneurs of Tatar villages, 748 entrepreneurs from Tatar villages from 41 regions of the Russian Federation took part. The most representative delegation came from Bashkortostan – 76 people. Numerous delegations were represented from the republics of Mari El, Mordovia, Chuvashia, Udmurtia, Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod, Omsk,

Orenburg, Saratov, Samara, Ulyanovsk and Chelyabinsk regions. If we mention regions remote from Tatarstan, we should say that there were representatives from Irkutsk, Tomsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Astrakhan, Krasnoyarsk and Stavropol regions.

In anticipation of the preparation of the gathering, numerous appeals were received from Tatar entrepreneurs from regions where there are no Tatar villages, but these businessmen themselves are engaged either in the production or processing of agricultural products. So businessmen from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Leningrad, Ivanovo, Moscow oblast, Primorsky krai came to the meeting. Guests from Kazakhstan and China were also invited to the gathering.

Welcoming speech by chairman of the World Congress of Tatars Rinat Zakirov opened the plenary session. In his speech he analyzed the condition of the Tatar villages, underlined the exceptional role of entrepreneurship in the countryside, which only gives a chance to the village to survive in modern conditions.

Then the delegates of the assembly spoke.

Emotional was the performance by Hasan Idiatullin from Iglinsky district of Bashkortostan. He started with the congratulations to Rustam Minnikhanov on the recently held jubilee. Then he spoke with great feeling about the family business of reviving the Tatar breed of horses. Today, Hassan Sagitzhanovich has a herd of 1000 animals. One of the best – a five-year stallion, who had already won prizes at the Sabantui, he decided to present as a gift to Tatarstan, so that the Tatar breed of horses developed on its land.

In general, all the speeches of the delegates were imbued with not only business issues, but also the preservation of the Tatar villages. Head of the village of Uliankul, Omsk region, Leila Mukhammetshina, adorned her speeches with quotations from Tatar writers.

Very touching was the speech by the writer and local historian, respected Garifzhan aga Muhammetshin. He devoted his whole life to

collecting and preserving the history of his native land.

The result of the speeches was summed up by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The main idea of the presidential speech: in today’s conditions, only the village remains the only place where the culture and traditions of the Tatar people are preserved, which means that every effort should be made to preserve the Tatar village. It seems that most of the people sitting in the hall were completely in solidarity with Rustam Nurgaliyevich.

After the speech, the President presented state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan. The medal “For Valiant Labor” was awarded to two truly legendary figures in the Tatar social movement. This is the head of Starokulatkinsky district of Ulyanovsk region Eduard Ganeev and entrepreneur, a member of the presidium of the Tatar organization from Samara “Dyslyk” Daniya Tulova.

Kutdusov, Nail Mariatov, Ferid Chabatov, Rafik Yusupov were delivered.

The meeting ended with the adoption of the resolution.

After lunch, a meeting of the Council of the All-Russian Public Organization “Tatar villages of Russia” was held.
