August 29, 2019 the members of the Council of the NCA of the Siberian Tatars TO visited the Siberian Tatar poetess and just a sincere person Galia Abaidullina.

They came to her with joyful news that  her two new books with poems and prose in their native language saw the light. When she was handed the signal copies of books published with the assistance of the NCA of the Siberian Tatars of the Republic of Tatarstan and the support of the Committee on Affairs of Nationalities of the Republic of Tatarstan, Galiya-apa could not hold back her tears of joy. She was very touched  and was sincerely glad.

She is the author of many books. They  became best known to the general reader due to the fact that she posted her poems in the Siberian Tatar language in 2017 in the anthology “Contemporary literature of the peoples of Russia (poetry). In 2018 volumes 2 and 3 were published, which included poems for children and a story for adults, also in the native language of the Siberian Tatars.

Galia Tukhbatullovna writes, of course, both in Russian and Kazan, which she taught, like many children in her school. But, I believe that the most important thing in your life to remember and not to forget your native language is the language of your father and mother, the language of that locality, which is for you a small homeland that gave you shelter and food, and, of course, if you have such an opportunity, need and knowledge – to develop it.

Galia-apa, according to our Siberian traditions, treated us to tea, read her poems, and gave us gifts – with her books. We are very grateful to her hospitality. We hope that in the near future we will hold presentations of her books, both in Tyumen, and in Tobolsk and in the regions.
