Winners of the 5th Republican Children’s Film Festival “Milli MultFest” will be awarded on December 6

On December 6, 2025, at 11:00, the award ceremony for the winners of the 5th Republican Children’s Film Festival “Milli MultFest” will take place at the Mir cinema.

The film festival aims to develop children’s cinematic creativity and preserve the cultural heritage of the Tatar people. The main goal of Milli MultFest is to preserve the Tatar language, develop visual culture, and promote the spiritual, intellectual, and creative growth of children and teenagers through the creation of animated and short live-action films.

The number of applicants wishing to participate in the festival grows every year. This year, 505 submissions were received not only from Tatarstan but also from other regions of Russia. Children aged 7 to 17, as well as creative teams, take part in Milli MultFest.
“This is not just a competition — it is an entire universe. It is not only a contest but also a priceless opportunity for growth, exchanging experience, and strengthening our animation community,” participants of the festival share.

The shortlist of the 5th Milli MultFest competition includes 19 works created by children’s art collectives from kindergartens, art schools, creative studios, and centers from Tatarstan and other regions of the country.

The jury includes:
• Ramil Tukhvatullin — People’s Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan named after G. Tukay, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation;
• Sergey Kiatrov — Chief Director of the “Tatarmultfilm” animation studio;
• Aynur Davletov — Director and supervisor of the Almetyevsk studio “DALINA Graphics”;
• Dilshat Rakhmatullin — Animation director and head of Dala Animation Studio (Kazakhstan).

The founders of the festival are: the Commission under the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan on the preservation and development of the Tatar language and the native languages of the peoples living in Tatarstan, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Kazan State Institute of Culture. The organizer of the event is the State Institution “Tatarkino”.
