On November 3, the XII Youth Festival of National Cultures of Ugra “We are one people!” was held at the Surgut State University. The event was organized by the Department of Education and Science of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra, the Department of Internal Policy of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra, and Surgut State University. Leaders of national organizations were invited as jury members.

The festival demonstrated the cultures, traditions and customs of the peoples living on the territory of Ugra. 17 delegations took part: Khanty, Moldovans, Adjarians, Tatars, Kumyks, Bashkirs, Kazakhs, Mordovians, Cossacks, Georgians, Ossetians, Nogais, Armenians, Tajiks, Dagestanis, Indians and Russians.

The delegation of the Beloyarsk Polytechnic College presented the national customs and cuisine of the Tatars.
