On September 25, the regional conference “XIV Yakupov Readings” will be held at the Marjani Mosque in Kazan. The event is organized by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Islamic Institute, with the support of the Foundation for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science, and Education.

The annual conference is dedicated to reflecting on the rich spiritual, religious, and intellectual legacy of the outstanding Tatar educator, scholar, and religious figure Valiulla Hazrat Yakupov (1963–2012), one of the initiators of the revival of the “Muhammadiya” madrasah.

The conference will be attended by imams, heads of religious educational institutions of Tatarstan, friends and associates of the late scholar, as well as representatives of the World Congress of Tatars.

Everyone is welcome to join the Readings, including in online format. The live broadcast will be available on the Telegram channel “DUM RT,” the VKontakte community of the Russian Islamic Institute, and the Rutube channel of “Khuzur TV.”
