Today, February 22, the working visit to Khabarovsk by Deputy prime minister of Tatarstan,  Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaikhraziev continues. He met with  head of the department of the Ministry of Internal Policy of the Khabarovsk Territory, A.P. Ivagin, at the Regional Friendship Palace. The meeting was also attended by the director of the Palace of Friendship O.M. Blonskaya. To date, representatives of 145 nationalities live in the Khabarovsk Territory. And “Rus” is the center that unites all these peoples.

During the meeting A. Ivagin expressed his intention  to visit Tatarstan and  the House of Friendship of the Peoples of the Republic. He noted that Tatarstan is an example in preserving  and augmentation of the traditions of interethnic harmony, the achievement of spiritual and moral and socio-political harmony, the unity of peoples.

Vasil Shaykhraziev, in turn, spoke about the activities of the Friendship Houses and the Assembly of Peoples. And he said that Tatarstan is happy to host guests from Khabarovsk and share experience. Then Vasil Shaikhraziev introduced the activities of the Congress.

The head of the department noted that next year they want to organize the Far Eastern Sabantuy in Khabarovsk.

The meeting was also attended by the leaders of the Tatar public organizations that  are  working  in Far East.
