Cooking workshop will be held in Izhevsk for participants of the republican contest “Tatar Kyzy -2019”

A master class on cooking the Tatar national dish – kystyby will be held for participants of the republican contest “Tatar Kyzy – 2019” in Izhevsk on January 13. As the organizers told the Udmurtia news agency, the event would  take place at the national cuisine cafe Sabantui.

“A Tatar girl should be a good housewife, should be able to sew and cook. And our participants should be able to do everything. Therefore, we try to organize various master classes for them, ”says Rushana Sattarova, coordinator of the Republican contest“ Tatar Kyzy – 2019 ”

According to Rushana Sattarova, referring  to a survey of the audience, the majority voted for  culinary stage.

Culinary master class for girls will be held by  chefs of the national cafe. In addition, the organizers are preparing surprises for guests of the event. Everyone will be taught to do “Mai kanaty” and a goose feather brush to distribute the oil on the surface of the pan. In addition, participants in the event will be given a master class on Tatar dances.

We will note that this year 10 girls will fight for the crown of the winner in Udmurtia. They passed a qualifying round in November 2018.

“We held  casting immediately after the final of the International Competition“ Tatar Kyzy -2018 ”, which was held in Kazan. This time, almost 50 girls applied for participation in the republican contest, ”Rushana Sattarova said,

In 2019, the contest “Tatar Kyzy” will be held in Izhevsk in two stages. The republican stage will take place on April 5 at the State Philharmonic. We remind  the finals of the international competition is scheduled for September 27.
