Eduard Ganeyev died

At the 68th year, Eduard Anvarovich Ganeev, General Director of ETKS GEKSAR LLC, passed away. He was a successful entrepreneur, public figure, famous philanthropist and just a good person.

For services to the state and a great contribution to the socio-economic development of the Saratov region, Dr. Electrotechnical Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Honored Machine Builder of the Russian Federation Eduard Ganeyev was awarded a state award – the Order of Honor. In addition to the production activities, Eduard Anvarovich for many years led a great public work, headed by one of the committees of the Public Chamber of the region, as well as the public council of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Saratov region. For his work to preserve the spiritual and cultural heritage of the Tatar people, he repeatedly received high awards from the mufti of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Edward Anvarovich was born on January 15, 1952 in the village of Old Mostyak, Starokulatkinsky District, Ulyanovsk Region, in the family of a teacher at a local school. After graduating from school in the Old Atlash, he followed in the footsteps of his parents – he entered a pedagogical university. For several years he worked as a school director, was head of the culture department of the district executive committee. At the end of the 80s, by the will of fate, he ended up in Saratov, and from that moment his life was connected with the electrical engineering plant, where he went through all the steps of his career ladder.

At the most difficult turning point in 1993, the collective chose Edward Anvarovich as their director, and he brought the company out of a protracted crisis. For more than 25 years, Ganeev headed the ETKS “GEKSAR”, turning the plant into a modern enterprise, producing reliable automation and remote control for the Ministry of Railways of Russia. During his production and social activities, Eduard Ganeyev was repeatedly noted by the regional authorities, his name was entered on the Hall of Fame of the city of Saratov and the Kirov district.

We offer deep and sincere condolences to the family and friends in connection with an irreparable loss. Everyone appreciated Eduard Anvarovich as a talented, fair, purposeful leader. And we are grateful to the fate that it gave us a friendship with such a bright, sympathetic and sincerely generous man. We will forever keep in our hearts the fond memory of Eduard Anvarovich Ganeev – the director, friend and disinterested philanthropist.
