On November 28, at 15:00, the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan will open an exhibition of the works of a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Tatarstan, Irek Massarov, “History of the Tatar People”.
The exhibition will feature more than 50 works by a talented artist, winner of the Naberezhnye Chelny competitive exhibition “Artist of the Year” in the “Graphics” nomination for original disclosure of the national theme by Irek Massarov. In addition to graphic works, viewers will also see works made in oil and in mixed media.
The works by I. Massarov are addressed to the historical and cultural memory of the people. Irek Nailovich is a worthy successor of national artistic traditions, an ascetic of Tatar culture.
The artist has a peculiar creative vision, individual style. His works are devoted to the history of the emergence of village and events from the life of distant ancestors, their customs and traditions. The paintings revive the spirit of past eras and the memory of them, convey to the viewer a sense of the inextricable connection of generations in the Tatar national culture.
The exhibition will run until December 22.
