Kazan hosts a world championship “Koresh” and World Championship Wrestling on belts. The capital of Tatarstan will gather more than 400 wrestlers from 35 countries. Fights of the strongest wrestlers of the planet will take place at the Palace of martial arts, “Ak Bars” from November 20 to 22.
The first application from foreign teams for the world championships have filed to organizing committee the wrestlers from Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Moldova, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. By the end of this week the applications are drawing up the athletes from Europe and the East.
The team of Russia these days holds training camp in Moscow and Kazan. It is expected that our country will expose the most numerous team.
Wrestling “Koresh” will be held November 20. Men are allowed to participate not younger 19 years old. Fights are held in six weight categories. The day before the
competition for the athletes and coaches of the national teams will be organized master classes and workshops.
Competitions of wrestling on belts are held on November 21 (freestyle) and November 22 (classic style). The men will compete for the title of the strongest in seven categories, the women will compete in five weights. There will also be arrangements for coaches, referees and athletes.
The organizing committee invites all fans of the competition of belt wrestling. Preliminary meetings will be held from 9.00 am. Start of finals at 17.00.
