June 29, 2019 in the village of Kamyshla, Samara Region, the tenth anniversary All-Russian Rural Sabantui will be held.
Mass celebrations will begin at 10 am, the work of the courtyards – from 11 o’clock, the official opening – at 11:30. All the participants of the event will have an interesting, rich program: greetings and honors for the batyrs of spring field work, a colorful opening ceremony of Sabantui, a concert with participation of the best creative collectives of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Samara Region; horse races, sports competitions, traditional wrestling “Koresh”, folk games, rides, rich national cuisine and much more.
Festive morning for guests and all residents of the Kamyshlinsky district, who always treated Sabantuy with great love and handed down the traditions of the national holiday from generation to generation, will begin with a long-awaited and momentous event – the opening of the bust to the Tatar poet, World War II participant Enver Davydov in honor of 100 anniversary of the birth. According to the memories of the villagers on the morning of June 22, 1941, people also gathered in a clearing on Sabantuy, where they heard the sad news of the beginning of the war. Many participants of the competitions and concerts that did not take place went straight from here to the front and died in the battles for the Motherland. Kamyshlintsers remember and sacredly honor the memory of the heroes. At 10:40 on the central square in front of the district house of culture. E.Davydov’s village Kamyshla held a solemn opening ceremony of the monument.
The epicenter of the festive events and folk festivals will be Sabantui Square, located at the entrance to Kamyshlu: homesteads of the Republic of Tatarstan, Samara region, Republic of Bashkortostan
