Sermons at the Ikhlas mosque are read only in the Tatar language

February 24, 2019

The Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan, the Chairman of the National Council of the World Tatar Congress, familiarized  with the activities of the Muslim organization Ikhlas. The sermons at the Ikhlas mosque are read only in the Tatar language. Vasil Shaykhraziev noted that this is very correct, because the Tatar language is also close to representatives of other nations practicing Islam. They do not have difficulty in  understanding preaches, at the same time it contributes to their better mastering of the Tatar language, he noted.

Ihlas has a capacity of 450 people. During Friday sermons the mosque is completely filled with people.

75-80 percent of those who attend a mosque are Tatars. There are a lot of young people among them, says the Imam-Khatib of the Ikhlas mosque Muhammad Khazrat Gallyam.

The Ikhlas mosque is located in the building of the former cinema and for 24 years serves as a center for the Tatars.

A visit to the Ikhlas mosque today is the last event in the framework of the visit of Vasil Shaikhraziyev to the Republic of Bashkortostan. Here it was told about the activities of a religious institution, showed a video, made an ensemble that works at the mosque.

We remind you that today a sketch of the Strategy for the Development of the Tatar People was presented in Ufa.
