On November 16-17, Yekaterinburg will host the Open Interregional contest of Tatar dance performers “Shoma bass” (“Dance more merrily”).
The event is held with assistance of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Culture of the Sverdlovsk Region, the Ministry of Education and Youth Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region, Kazan State Institute of Culture, Sverdlovsk State Regional Palace of Folk Arts. Organizers – Regional Public Organization “Congress of Tatars (Tatars of the Urals) of the Sverdlovsk Region”, Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Sverdlovsk Region.
The competition will bring together young talents from the Sverdlovsk, Orenburg, Chelyabinsk, Tomsk, Tyumen regions, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Perm Territory, and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. The contestants will be judged by a professional and reputable jury composed of honored artists of Russia and Tatarstan.
The Open Interregional competition of Tatar dance performers “Shoma bass” will be held on November 16, 2019. The contest program starts at 10.00 at the Big Concert Hall of the SRSNT.
The gala concert will take place on November 17, 2019 at 16:00 in the Sverdlovsk State Regional Palace of Folk Arts at Yekaterinburg. The winners of the contest program, as well as the winners of the International Competition “Tatars Mona” Elisa Makhiyanova, Ruslan Vakkasov, Albina Yusupova, Rushan Kamalov, the soloist of the group Kazan Egetlere Ilnat Farkhullin, will take part in it.
