The society of Tatar women “Ak kalfak” in Surgut this week will acquaint with a long-forgotten custom, the tradition of our people – “Aulak oi. The event will take place at the National-Cultural Autonomy of the Tatars, this Sunday, February 11.
The society of Tatar women “Ak kalfak” in Surgut with responsibility refers to its work. To date, the work goes in different directions: the production of a national headdress – kalfak; embroidery of paintings with satin ribbons; knitting; preparation of national dishes, etc. It is worth mentioning the holding of events that help to preserve national spiritual traditions, folk handicrafts, as well as pass them on to the younger generation, for example: “Shul bilj”, “Kaz Omske”, “Bishkek zhyry”, “Karga Botkasy” “. This is the goal of the society “Ak kalfak”.
To date, despite the modernity of life, the occupation of these crafts and applied folk art is commonplace. How can we teach modern crafts to the modern youth? Even in the age of information technology! This question was put by our women and they set to work! Here and this week they want to acquaint you with the long-forgotten custom, the tradition of our people – “Aulak oi”.
The main goal of this event is the revival of the Tatar folk customs that had been left for us from our ancestors; the education of children in the spirit of national traditions; the awakening of love for one’s native language; teaching Tatar folk songs and games, a framework of decency, attention to each other and respect for the older generation.
