On February 15, a Majlis in memory of outstanding Tatar figures was held at the Marjani mosque in Kazan.

The ceremony of awarding the Republican Prize named after Ilkham Shakirov is scheduled on the Day of the Cultural Worker, March 25, with the participation of the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan.

February 15 marked the 117th anniversary of the birth of the Tatar poet - Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Jalil.

For the first time in the history of the contest, works in Chechen, Serbian and Japanese were considered.

The republican competition for aspiring poets in Tatar language will be held in March-April 2023. 

A visit to Malyi Barkhanchak, a meeting with the leaders of Tatar public organizations of the North Caucasian and Southern federal districts are planned here.

Works for the competition are accepted until April 4, 2023

A lecture by the historian Alexander Cheremin was held in the library of the Tatar Cultural Center in Moscow.

The Tatar-Bashkir Association of the Turkic Peoples of the Iberian Peninsula introduced the Spaniards to the Tatar culture.
